Who is Simply Crafts and Scents?
Simply Crafts and Scents are a company based in Dunstable, Bedfordshire.
They sell various handmade crafts and scented products, such as candles, wax melts, soap bars, and room sprays.
Each product can be customised to their customers requirements, with shipping to anywhere in the UK.
What Did We Do For Them?
Simply Crafts and Scents came to us to help expand their Facebook business.
They had a shop on Facebook showcasing their products, but wanted to expand the company to reach a wider audience.
Quillations Website Design researched relevant keywords to help build the front page of the E-Commerce website.
These keywords were then incorporated within the text.
We used the colour scheme from their current logo, and images from their Facebook page to enhance the look for their site.
The product page was built with hidden elements, which their customers can click on a link to view more products.
By doing this, the speed of the website would be quicker – helping with the user experience.
We added local schema markup to the backend of the website, and included x10 product pages to the site.
All Simply Crafts and Scents need to do to add new products, is to simply “copy and paste” one of their products, change the text, and publish!
Quillations will always try to make everything as easy to manage for our customers.
Once the website was completed, Simply Crafts and Scents took out our Website Hosting Package, which the site was uploaded to.
We then added the website to be indexed to both Google and Bing, and added the Analytics to monitor the website.
How Is Their Website Performing?
Data taken on 26.04.23:
Quillations Website Design has taken the first 3 Months of the website being live, to the latest 3 Months.
- Website clicks have risen by 137.5%
- Website Impressions have risen by 1376.92%
- Average Website Position is 27 – with x2 pages on Page 1 of Google
For a new website, results are always going to be huge when comparing the first 3 Months to the previous, but it shows that what Quillations Website Design has done is working.
